Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Sands (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Warren Peace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sands comes to the cage accompanied by Hip Hop - By: Dead Prez. Peace has chosen Str8 Gangstaism as his entrance music. Carl Sands could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Warren Peace's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carl Sands! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Warren Peace! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left lands for Sands. Good exchange - Sands coming out on top. The fighters circling - Sands throws out the jab but it was never going to land. The fighters circling - Peace throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A little feinted left hand from Sands on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Peace throws the left hand but Sands avoids the punch easily. A jab from Sands finds it's way through Peace's defenses. Peace looks to score with a jab to the body but Sands is just out of range. Sands falls off balance throwing a combination
and Peace cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Sands throws an off balance right hand
and Peace counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Carl Sands has been cut. Sands misses with a shot to the body and Peace counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Sands lands a body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sands is trying hard to land a takedown here. Peace sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Peace is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Sands with a body shot. Sands misses with a hook. Sands smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Sands fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Peace on the side of the head. Sands throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sands moves away from the strike by Peace. Sands gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Peace counters with a nice uppercut. Carl Sands seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sands shoots in but Peace avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Sands. That's going to take a lot out of him. Peace throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sands sees it coming and avoids it easily. Sands tries to counter with a takedown but Peace is quick to defend against it. Sands misses with a double jab.
Sands ducks under a wild hook from Peace. Sands seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Sands shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Peace sprawls well. Peace wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sands gets slowly back to his feet. Sands shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Peace pinned against the cage. Peace gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Sands takes a swing at Peace's ribcage but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peace is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sands. Sands looks to land a combination but Peace avoids it well. Peace throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sands pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Sands misses with a body shot.
Peace moves away from the strike by Sands. Sands throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Peace blocks a jab. Sands avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Peace stuns Sands with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sands throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sands looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Peace throws out a powerful jab. Peace takes one on the button. Excellent takedown into side control there by Sands. Peace wants to control but Sands postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sands tries to advance to mount but Peace denies him. Sands tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sands has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sands is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Peace knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. A bit of a lull in the action here. Peace manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Sands moves into full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Peace stopping the sweep attempt from Sands. Sands had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Peace defends it easily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Peace accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sands throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Peace must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sands trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Sands bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Peace's guard. Peace preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Sands postures up in Peace's guard and throws a big left but Peace blocks it. Peace utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Peace really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sands. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sands working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sands has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sands drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sands jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Sands lands a couple of elbows. Sands postures up in Peace's guard and throws a big left but Peace blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Carl Sands will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Carl Sands's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Sands throws a solid leg kick but Peace takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Sands. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Peace! But no joy. Sands shoots for a takedown but Peace saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Peace is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Peace displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sands throws out the jab. Sands lands a glancing blow to the side of Peace's head. Peace bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sands misses with a takedown attempt and Peace counters with a nice uppercut. The fighters circling - Sands throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Sands slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. We've been informed that Peace has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Nice body punch from Sands. Sands fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Peace looks like he wants to counter punch here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Sands. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peace throws a series of punches but Sands avoids them all with ease. Peace looks to throw the jab but Sands is out of range. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sands throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Peace works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sands with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Peace utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sands throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sands might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Peace got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sands has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Peace has managed to get both his arms back between Sands's legs - danger averted. Sands tries to land a sweep but no joy. Peace throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sands wants to sweep here but Peace controlling him for the moment. Peace throws a big right hand that misses. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Peace accidentally thumps the mat. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Peace can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Peace in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sands has his foot on Peace's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Peace works his way back into a safe position though. Peace is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Sands has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Peace is looking to defend but Sands has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Peace! Sands pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Peace taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Carl Sands! Post fight, Carl Sands stared into the camera and said 'I want to thank my family, and my coaches and training partners. This wasn't an easy camp for me.
