Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arlington Beech (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and De Bruyne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beech comes to the cage accompanied by You Know My Name. Bruyne has chosen Busta Rhymes - Other Side Of The Road as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Arlington Beech! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 5 - 3, fighting out of New York, De Bruyne! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid body kick from Beech. Beech throws a looping overhand right but Bruyne ducks down to avoid it. Bruyne takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Beech scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. The fight stays on the outside here - Beech looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bruyne lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Beech lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Bruyne slips under a jab from Beech. Beech ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Beech throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bruyne sees it coming and avoids it easily. Bruyne tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Arlington Beech seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Beech wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Beech is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. De Bruyne has got the better of the ground game so far. and Beech counters with a three punch combo that has Bruyne backing up. Bruyne nods at Beech to acknowledge the strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Beech misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bruyne.

Bruyne bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bruyne changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Bruyne displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Beech throws out the jab. Bruyne stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Beech. Bruyne fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Beech throws a leg kick which misses Bruyne's front leg but catches the back leg as Bruyne tries to avoid it. Bruyne's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Bruyne avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to De Bruyne. I think Bruyne has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
