Mitchell closes the distance and clinches.
Gardiner lands an uppercut.
Gardiner lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Gardiner lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Mitchell is trying to break free.
Mitchell's coach down at ReVoLuT!oN !sL@nD GYM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Mitchell's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Gardiner lands a shoulder strike.
A right handed body shot lands from Gardiner.
Mitchell is looking to break free of the clinch but Gardiner has double underhooks.
Gardiner lands a hook that snaps the head of Mitchell backwards.
Gardiner lands a left hand that snaps the head of Mitchell backwards.
Gardiner digs a right hand into Mitchell's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mitchell's gas tank.
Gardiner gets through Mitchell's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Mitchell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Gardiner pushes Mitchell back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Gardiner is leaning against Mitchell and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Gardiner lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Gardiner cracks Mitchell with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Mitchell goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Mitchell wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
