Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergio Sarulo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peter Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sergio Sarulo! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Topper Green and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sarulo takes a swing at Parker's ribcage but misses. Parker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sarulo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Parker somewhat. Parker shoots in looking for a takedown. Sarulo tries to sprawl out of it but Parker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sarulo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sarulo follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Parker fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Parker. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sarulo rushes Parker and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Sarulo's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Parker tries to pull guard but Sarulo forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Sarulo tries to pull guard but Parker holds him up against the cage and eventually Sarulo drops back down to his feet.
Parker looking for a takedown. Sarulo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Parker looking for a takedown. Sarulo prevents Parker from breaking the clinch. Parker breaks from the clinch.
Sarulo throws a head kick that misses. Parker changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Parker fails with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sarulo shoots in for a takedown but Parker shows good takedown defense. Parker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sarulo's waist but Sarulo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Parker off to one side. No luck with that takedown attempt from Sarulo. Parker throws a sloppy head kick and Sarulo moves out of range easily. Sarulo shoots in for a takedown but Parker shows good takedown defense. Sarulo clinches up with Parker and pushes him back against the cage. Parker is working for takedown but Sarulo is calmly controlling the position for now. Sarulo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Parker to keep the fight standing. Sarulo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sarulo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Parker shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Parker shoots for a takedown but Sarulo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. And Sarulo responds with a good body kick, but Parker manages to step out the way in time. Parker is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Parker.
A head kick misses from Sarulo. Parker keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Sarulo throws a shot to the body.
Sarulo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sarulo. Parker leaves Sarulo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Parker slips a jab and a cross from Sarulo.
Sarulo tries to clinch but Parker moves out of range. Parker feinted with a counter takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker fails to land the takedown. Sarulo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Parker defends it nicely. Parker wants to clinch up but Sarulo keeps it at a distance. Parker feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sarulos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Sarulo shoots in but Parker avoids the takedown attempt easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Parker feints and as Sarulo raises his hands in defense, Parker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Parker looking to control the position here, rather than advance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sergio Sarulo dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sarulo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Parker sprawls well. Parker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sarulo gets slowly back to his feet. Sergio Sarulo seems to be getting the better of the standup. Sarulo misses with a takedown attempt - Parker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Sarulo dives in and grabs Parker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Parker pushes down on Sarulo's head and hops out. Peter Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergio Sarulo. Sarulo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Parker paws at him with a jab and circles away. Parker keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
No luck for Parker with that takedown attempt. Sarulo lands with a nice combination. Parker backs away looking to recover.
That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sarulo is defended easily by Parker. Sarulo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Sarulo has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sarulo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Sarulo fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Sarulo is breathing heavily. Sarulo tries to clinch but fails miserably and Parker counters with a crisp one two that drops Sarulo! Parker thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sarulo to his feet! Sarulo is in big trouble!
Sarulo is rocked! Parker shoots in for a takedown. SLAM! Brutal! Sarulo is out cold and this one is all over!
