Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wo Kung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Smith!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kung closes the distance and clinches.
Smith wants to take the fight to the mat but Kung manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
A hook to the body from Kung.
Smith's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A shot in the inside from Kung.
Kung drops Smith onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Smith is propped up by the ropes and works his way back to his feet!
It looks like Jack Smith has been cut.
Smith looks winded!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A short left from Kung.
Smith tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kung just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Kung drops Smith onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Smith is propped up by the ropes and works his way back to his feet!
Smith is rocked!
Kung lands a big right hand that drops Smith! The killer instinct kicks in and Kung finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Kung!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wo Kung!
In his post fight interview, Wo Kung started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
