Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Balzac Tzovalzeck!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcconnell throws a head kick that misses.
Mcconnell really is a fat lump.
Mcconnell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tzovalzeck wants to clinch
and Mcconnell counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mcconnell changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tzovalzeck looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tzovalzeck gets back to half guard.
Tzovalzeck is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcconnell not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Mcconnell is taking a breather. Tzovalzeck says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Tzovalzeck is looking to control Mcconnell's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tzovalzeck avoid being mounted?

Tzovalzeck trying to hold on to Mcconnell's head to control him but Mcconnell postures up.
Tzovalzeck is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Mcconnell is staying active.
Tzovalzeck throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Tzovalzeck has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mcconnell is working away from the top position though.
Mcconnell throwing shots but Tzovalzeck is blocking nicely.
Tzovalzeck gets full guard.
Mcconnell stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Tzovalzeck has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Mcconnell manages to get his head free but now Tzovalzeck has transitioned to an armbar! Mcconnell grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Tzovalzeck! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
