Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Kyoji Horiguchi and Josh Miller. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 2 losses; Kyoji Horiguchi! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 0 losses; Josh Miller!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Horiguchi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Miller looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Horiguchi (4) vs (0) Miller
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Horiguchi controls the position from side control.
Horiguchi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Miller has escaped the position, nice work there.
Miller is trying to control Horiguchi's posture but Horiguchi avoids it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miller seems a little lost for a moment, as Horiguchi dominates the positioning.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Miller looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Horiguchi wants to control but Miller is keeping busy.

Horiguchi is doing well to control the position and prevent Miller from advancing to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Miller tries to control but Horiguchi wriggling away.
Miller might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Horiguchi haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Horiguchi holds of for dear life.

Horiguchi tries to lock up and control but Miller gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Horiguchi keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Horiguchi is squirming around, avoiding Miller's attempts to control the action.
Miller avoids the attempt from Horiguchi to control.
Horiguchi is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Miller looking to control but Horiguchi is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Miller keeps control of the position easily here as Horiguchi tries to buck him off.

Horiguchi looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Miller sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Horiguchi taps out!
