Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kordic misses with a left hand
and Pereira counters with a takedown into side control.
Kordic is looking to reverse the position.
Kordic parries the strikes from Pereira easily there. Pereira is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kordic to escape.
Kordic tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pereira wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Pereira scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kordic to see if he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A looping hook to the body misses from Kordic. Pereira does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pereira displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kordic throws out the jab.
Pereira throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kordic sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kordic is looking to land body kicks.
Pereira moves forwards but Kordic connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kordic throws a low kick, looking for Pereira's leg but Pereira calmly moves out of range.
Kordic throws a shot from downtown. Pereira moves away and avoids it.

John Kordic seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Jab, jab by Pereira - just one landing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pereira attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Pereira bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kordic wants to clinch up but Pereira keeps it at a distance.

Pereira jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Pereira tries to counter with a takedown but Kordic is quick to defend against it.
Pereira throws out a leg kick but Kordic moves out of range and Pereira only half commits.

and Pereira counters with a left to the body.
A solid body kick from Pereira.
The fighters circle, before Pereira throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Kordic's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Pereira lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
