Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
It looks like Iain Savernport has been cut.
Savernport fails to land the takedown.
Richardson scores with a body shot.
Savernport clinches up with Richardson and pushes him back against the cage.
Richardson lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Richardson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Savernport gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Savernport throws a right and a left that both miss.
Savernport throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Richardson with a nice cross.
Richardson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Savernport's head backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Savernport throws a head kick but Richardson moves out of range.
Savernport dives in and grabs Richardson 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Richardson pushes down on Savernport's head and hops out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick misses from Savernport.
Richardson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Richardson drops Savernport with a straight right hand, right on the button! Richardson follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
