Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bartek Pietrzak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glorious Superior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 39 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bartek Pietrzak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Glorious Superior!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pietrzak fails to land the takedown.
Superior throws a body shot but no joy.
Pietrzak misses with a wild body shot.
Superior throws a body punch but Pietrzak moves out of range.
Superior takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Bartek Pietrzak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Superior chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pietrzak can pounce on him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pietrzak dodges the punch combination from Superior.

Superior is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pietrzak tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Superior was well out of range. Poor timing from Pietrzak.

Superior closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Pietrzak has hold of one of Superior's legs. Superior is fighting the takedown attempt but Pietrzak gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Pietrzak is working Superior over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Superior is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Pietrzak throws a strike but Superior rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Pietrzak has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Superior tries to free his leg and advance position but Pietrzak is retaining full guard.

Superior has his foot on Pietrzak's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pietrzak works his way back into a safe position though.

Pietrzak postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Superior is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pietrzak, into his guard.

Pietrzak had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Superior defends it easily.

Pietrzak is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Superior drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Superior jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Superior wants to control from the top but Pietrzak keeps moving.
Superior is fighting to break Pietrzak's control of his arms but Pietrzak is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Superior tries to clinch there but Pietrzak circles away.
Pietrzak tries to counter with a takedown but Superior is quick to defend against it.
Superior shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pietrzak sprawls well. Pietrzak wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Superior gets slowly back to his feet.
Superior on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Pietrzak throws a shot from downtown. Superior moves away and avoids it.
Pietrzak swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pietrzak is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Superior can do to turn this around?
Pietrzak throws a leg kick which misses Superior's front leg but catches the back leg as Superior tries to avoid it.
Superior takes a shot to the body in his stride.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pietrzak misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Superior sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Superior is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Pietrzak scores with a couple of nice shots.

Superior is staying active underneath Pietrzak, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Superior is in trouble now - Pietrzak has advanced to mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Superior is looking to improve his position but Pietrzak isn't that keen on the idea.
A nice elbow there by Pietrzak.

Superior takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Pietrzak's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bartek Pietrzak!
A relieved looking Bartek Pietrzak thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
