Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Carver! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Ron Honeybunn and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Edinhio decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Carver wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Edinhio is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Carver has managed to free his arm - good work. Carver wants to get back to his feet. Edinhio frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Edinhio with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Edinhio wants to control the pace but Carver is squirming around nicely. Edinhio looking for a guillotine from mount but Carver is having none of it. Edinhio trying to control but Carver is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Edinhio takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Carver squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Edinhio has control of Carver's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Carver regains control of the situation pretty easily.
