Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Madhaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hossein Vaziri Jr. (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). . Chooooooooon! I think Madhaki might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fela Kuti - Let's Start . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

My spies in Russian Bears Elite Gym inform me that Vaziri Jr. has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Vaziri Jr. in particular looking to stall.

and Madhaki makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Vaziri Jr. feints and as Madhaki raises his hands in defense, Vaziri Jr. changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Madhaki has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Vaziri Jr. has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vaziri Jr. throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Madhaki doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Vaziri Jr. goes for a takedown attempt but Madhaki pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Madhaki lands with a kick to the temple. Vaziri Jr. shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Madhaki steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Vaziri Jr. is out on his feet! Madhaki sets himself and nearly takes Vaziri Jr.'s head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
