Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Lucien Paol!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Enok Jepsen!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jepsen connects with a jab.
It looks like Lucien Paol has been cut.
Paol takes one to the chin there.
Paol misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Good exchange - Jepsen coming out on top.
Jepsen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Paol closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jepsen circles away.
We've been told by Paol's head coaches at England Fight Club MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Paol dives in for a single leg takedown but Jepsen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucien Paol. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jepsen throws a body shot but no joy.
Paol attempts a counter takedown but Jepsen avoids it well and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jepsen's corner calls for a 1-2. Jepsen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Paol takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Jepsen wants to clinch up but Paol keeps it at a distance.
Paol tries to counter with a takedown but Jepsen is quick to defend against it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jepsen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A left lands for Jepsen.
Paol is rocked!
Jepsen moves into range and clinches up with Paol.
Jepsen lands a body punch in the clinch.
A short uppercut from Jepsen.
Oh Paol is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jepsen throws a big uppercut that drops Paol! More strikes from Jepsen and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Paol lies dazed against the cage as Jepsen celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Enok Jepsen!
During a confident post fight interview, Enok Jepsen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
