Bartlet kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Clash - Police And Thieves. Kid has chosen Kung Fu Fighting as his entrance music. Josiah Bartlet has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bartlet throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kid throws out a counter right but Bartlet avoids it with no problem.
Kid throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bartlet is looking to counter punch.
Bartlet tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Kid counters with an outside leg kick.
Bartlet stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kid.
Bartlet scores with a punch to the head.
Bartlet lands a head kick that stumbles Kid and the fighters go to the mat.
Kid is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bartlet arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Kid's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Josiah Bartlet!
After winning the bout, Josiah Bartlet thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
