Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Head Coach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sigurd Ragnarsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ragnarsson has chosen The Animal as his entrance music. Head Coach has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 2, fighting out of London, Head Coach! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sigurd Ragnarsson! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coach looks to throw the jab but Ragnarsson is out of range. Ragnarsson with the counter takedown but Coach avoids it easily. Coach slips under a jab. Ragnarsson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ragnarsson just misses with a punch to the body.
Coach takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ragnarsson slips under a jab. Coach moves out of range as Ragnarsson strikes. Coach thinks about countering with a head kick. Ragnarsson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Coach counters with an outside leg kick.
Ragnarsson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Coach throws out the jab. Head Coach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice defenses there by Ragnarsson. Coach misses with a straight left. Ragnarsson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Coach makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
That's one minute gone in the round. Coach throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Head Coach is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Coach looks to land a combination. Ragnarsson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Ragnarsson takes a swing at Coach's ribcage but misses. Coach misses with a straight right. A big left from Ragnarsson misses. Coach connects with a crisp jab. Coach's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ragnarsson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Coach scrambles back to his feet. Coach throws a hook to the side of Ragnarsson's head but Ragnarsson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Coach uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ragnarsson. It looked like Coach wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Coach displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ragnarsson throws out the jab. Ragnarsson moves out of range as Coach strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ragnarsson throws a hook but Coach blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coach misses the jab. Coach steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ragnarsson. Coach throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Coach throws a leg kick but Ragnarsson checks it. Coach waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ragnarsson. Coach throws a looping overhand right but Ragnarsson ducks down to avoid it. An inside leg kick lands from Coach. Ragnarsson misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Coach cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A jab from Coach misses. Coach lands with a shot to the body. Ragnarsson on the wrong end of a nice hook. Jab by Coach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ragnarsson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Coach's hands. Ragnarsson throws out a loose jab but Coach uses good head movement to avoid it. Nice cross by Coach. Ragnarsson walks into a straight right hand from Coach. Ragnarsson misses with a body punch
and Coach counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Coach. Ragnarsson wants to stall.
Coach is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ragnarsson is defending well for now. Ragnarsson is looking to take this one to the mat. Coach scores a nice knee to the body.
Coach working some nice short punches in the clinch. Ragnarsson is pushing Coach up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Ragnarsson tries to break free but Coach pushes him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ragnarsson trying to control the position but instead, Coach has worked for underhooks and has pushed Ragnarsson into the cage. Coach tries a body shot but Ragnarsson blocks it.
Ragnarsson is trying to stall.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Coach. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Coach as Ragnarsson tries to tie him up. Ragnarsson taking a breather. Coach creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Ragnarsson's defenses. Ragnarsson tries to stall but Coach uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Sigurd Ragnarsson. Ragnarsson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ragnarsson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Head Coach dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ragnarsson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Coach is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ragnarsson can do to turn this around? Ragnarsson swings for the body but Coach moves out of range.
Ragnarsson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Coach napping and manages to drive through into side control! You can see the frustration on Coach's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ragnarsson tries for a kimura but Coach is defending well. Coach regains half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ragnarsson uses his free foot to push down on Coach's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Coach. Ragnarsson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Coach is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ragnarsson content just to control the position here. Coach keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Ragnarsson is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Coach is in real trouble.
Ragnarsson is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Coach trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Sigurd Ragnarsson has got the better of the ground game so far. Coach trying to get back to his feet but Ragnarsson is in full control for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ragnarsson trying to control momentarily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ragnarsson working for the choke. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ragnarsson looking for the RNC. Coach trying to control the position but Ragnarsson manages to sink in the hooks. Ragnarsson working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Ragnarsson is looking for the choke from the back position but Coach is controlling his hands well. Coach defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Ragnarsson's arms. I really don't envy Coach right now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ragnarsson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Coach defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Coach trying to control the hands but Ragnarsson won't let him. Ragnarsson tightening his grip on Coach, looking for the choke. Ragnarsson working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sigurd Ragnarsson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Coach throws an overhand right that lands on Ragnarsson's shoulder, as Ragnarsson tries to avoid the shot. Ragnarsson feints the counter takedown. Sloppy strikes from Ragnarsson. Those never looked like landing. Coach throws a series of strikes that have Ragnarsson backpedaling.
Ragnarsson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Coach bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ragnarsson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Coach.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ragnarsson is defended easily by Coach. Coach moves into range and connects with a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coach throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ragnarsson swinging wildly here.
Coach throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Ragnarsson is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. A looping hook to the body misses from Ragnarsson. Coach does a little dance to reset his feet. Coach clinches with his opponent.
Coach breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Coach ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Ragnarsson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ragnarsson misses with a hook. Coach ducked under it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coach forces Ragnarsson back against the cage and clinches. Coach tries a body shot but Ragnarsson blocks it.

It looked like Coach wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Ragnarsson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ragnarsson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Coach looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ragnarsson trying to control the position from guard on top but Coach is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ragnarsson is looking to advance position but Coach has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Coach trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ragnarsson has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Coach looking to ground and pound but Ragnarsson is blocking nicely. Coach working Ragnarsson over with strikes here.
And that's the end of the fight! Head Coach showed his dominance in that final round. I think Coach has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
