The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alldikes misses with a series of wild punches.
Cranzinski slips a jab from Alldikes. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Alldikes has eaten all the pies! Alldikes throws a series of punches but Cranzinski avoids them all with ease. Cranzinski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Cranzinski is looking for a triangle but Alldikes pushes his legs off easily.
Cranzinski is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Cranzinski had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Alldikes is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cranzinski Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Alldikes's back instead. You can see the frustration on Alldikes's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Cranzinski is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Alldikes is defending well though. Cranzinski let's go of the attempt for now. Cranzinski avoiding Alldikes 's attempts to control his hands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alldikes tries to escape but Cranzinski has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Alldikes is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Cranzinski is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Alldikes. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Cranzinski is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Alldikes with him. Alldikes is trying to defend but Cranzinski has an arm under the chin now! Alldikes grimaces and is forced to tap out!
