Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duke McStoner! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cory McDonnell! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice inside leg kick there by McDonnell. That's going to slow McStoner down. McStoner avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A little feinted left hand from McStoner on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. McStoner wants to land a leg kick but McDonnell is out of range. McDonnell displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McStoner throws out the jab. McStoner misses with a wild body shot. McDonnell throws a leg kick and McStoner counters with a nice uppercut. McStoner swings and misses with a shot to the body enabling McDonnell to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Duke McStoner has been cut. McDonnell thumps McStoner with a low kick. McDonnell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McStoner misses with an uppercut. McDonnell saw that one coming. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McDonnell.
A clash of legs there as McStoner blocks the low kick. The fighters circling - McStoner throws out the jab but it was never going to land. McStoner looks to land a left hand but McDonnell moved out of range nicely. McDonnell flicks out a counter leg kick but McStoner steps away. McDonnell lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. McStoner tries to clinch there but McDonnell circles away.

McStoner throws the left hand but McDonnell avoids the punch easily. A lazy left from McDonnell finds it's target. McDonnell connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

letting McStoner counter with a right hand. A big left from McStoner misses. Cory McDonnell seems to be getting the better of the standup. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McDonnell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McStoner takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. McDonnell's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McStoner connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! McDonnell scrambles back to his feet. McStoner slips a jab from McDonnell. McStoner lands a nice shot to the body.

McStoner throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. McDonnell swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. A leg kick checked by McStoner. A little feinted left hand from McStoner on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. McDonnell is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
McDonnell punishes McStoner's body with a nice straight punch. McDonnell lands an overhand right. McStoner loads up on a big right hand but McDonnell slips the punch. McDonnell keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Duke McStoner's cut is getting worse. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McStoner checks a leg kick. McDonnell throws an overhand right that lands on McStoner's shoulder, as McStoner tries to avoid the shot. McStoner moves out of range of the strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McDonnell fakes the leg kick and cracks McStoner in the body. McDonnell scores with a hook. McDonnell lands a nice looking kick to the body. McStoner takes a step back to recover. A shot to the liver by McDonnell. Beautiful body shot. McDonnell slips a straight right by McStoner. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

"You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McDonnell, as that shot connected.

McDonnell fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McStoner has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McDonnell clips McStoner with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give McStoner a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.
McStoner is rocked! McStoner walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Cory McDonnell! Cory McDonnell is the new middleweight champion! Cory McDonnell very nearly forgot to thank Voodoo Nutrition amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
