Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alva Bean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ackroyd Bloggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ackroyd Bloggs has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alva Bean! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ackroyd Bloggs! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bean shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bloggs pinned against the cage. Bloggs gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bloggs is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bloggs gets tackled into the cage by Bean. Bean maintains the clinch. A battle for position here, against the cage. Bloggs stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bloggs manages to pull guard.
Bloggs working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bean doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bean manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bloggs is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bean landing with the ground and pound. Bean postures up in Bloggs's guard and throws a big left but Bloggs blocks it. Bean throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bloggs works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bean working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Bean has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bean throwing strikes from guard but Bloggs blocks nicely. Bean slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Bean lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Bloggs is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Bean dives into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bean tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Bean in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Bean working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Bean working the ground and pound from side control. Bean has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Bloggs has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bloggs lands a takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bean scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Bloggs looks winded! Nice takedown defense from Bloggs. No joy for Bean on that attempt. Bloggs shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bean manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Bloggs won't allow Bean to sweep him here. Bloggs throws a big right hand that misses. Bloggs prevents Bean from getting back to his feet. Bloggs preventing the sweep. Bloggs engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Bean is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Bean wants to sweep here but Bloggs controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bean has his feet on Bloggs's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Bean doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bloggs counters with a left to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alva Bean. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bloggs fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bean sprawls well initially but Bloggs persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bean has a hand on Bloggs's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Bloggs takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Bean keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bean holds on for dear life. Bloggs controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Alva Bean will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bloggs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Alva Bean is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bloggs shoots in and gets a takedown into Bean's guard. Bean pushes Bloggs off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Bloggs darts in and clinches Bean up against the cage. Bloggs is trying to force a seperation but Bean has the dominant position. Bean tries to pull guard but Bloggs won't allow it.
Bloggs tries to break free but Bean pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bloggs drags the fight down to the ground.
Bloggs is breathing heavily. Bloggs wriggles free and stands up. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bloggs closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bean is trying to pull guard but Bloggs turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Bloggs is trying to force a seperation but Bean has the dominant position. Bloggs wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bloggs manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Bean is in close to Bloggs's body, working some short punches and elbows. Bean controls from within his opponent's guard. Bean connects with a couple of short punches. Bean controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Bean postures up and lands a big shot to Bloggs's brow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bean content to stall in guard here. Bloggs working for submissions but it's allowed Bean to get to half guard.
Bean slips a nice elbow through Bloggs's hands, connecting with Bloggs's forehead. Bloggs is defending against the submission attempts here by Bean.
Bloggs has hold of Bean's hands but Bean slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bean is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Well, if Bean is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Bean scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bloggs tries to roll over but Bean keeps him under control. Bean looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bloggs with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bean keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Bean lands with a punch from half guard. Bloggs on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Bean content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bean connects with a nice short shot to Bloggs's temple. Bean is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bean lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Ground and pound from Bean. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Alva Bean will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Bean is controlling Bloggs's posture. Bloggs prevents Bean from getting back to his feet. Bloggs wants to control from the top but Bean keeps moving. Bean working a defensive guard here.

It looks like Alva Bean has been cut. Bloggs takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bean fails with a takedown attempt. Bloggs tries to counter with a clinch but Bean shakes him off and moves away. Bloggs shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bloggs showed some decent athleticism there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bean is controlling Bloggs's position as best he can from this difficult position. Bean pushes Bloggs off and gets back to his feet. Ackroyd Bloggs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Some wild striking there from Bloggs.
Nice takedown defense from Bloggs. No joy for Bean on that attempt. This has been an exciting period of action! Bloggs has closed the distance and engaged Bean in a clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alva Bean. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bean jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bloggs walks away with a smile on his face. Bean gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bloggs scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bean scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Bloggs manages to mount him!
Bean sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Bloggs prevents Bean from improving his position. Bean is working hard here to advance position. Bean works his way to full guard. Good work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bean is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bean accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bean is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Bean lands a couple of decent looking shots. Bean drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bloggs looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bloggs looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bloggs! Bean is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bean is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bloggs off and has taken his back!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ackroyd Bloggs. I think Bean has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
