And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, How Long!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Long missing with a left hand there. Kim was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A little feinted left hand from Kim on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Long misses with a low kick.
Kim ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Long moves away.
Kim tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Long was well out of range. Poor timing from Kim.
Kim uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Long.
Long uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kim.
Kim cracks Long with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Long blocks a head kick by Kim.
Kim sets himself, and Long steps forward looking for the clinch! Kim avoids it this time.
A swing and a miss from Kim.
A head kick misses from Kim.
Long connects with a right hand. Kim shakes it off.
Long scores with a nice strike.
Kim throws a shot from downtown. Long moves away and avoids it.
Kim is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Long throws a push kick but Kim slaps the foot to one side.
Nice defenses there by Long.
A head kick misses from Kim.
Long jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kim appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Kim is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Kim tries to move into range but Long moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kim misses the shot to the body.
Long buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Long staying out of range there.
Long throws an overhand right that lands on Kim's shoulder, as Kim tries to avoid the shot.
Long scores with a leg kick.
Long misses with a wild body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kim takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kim throws a looping overhand right but Long ducks down to avoid it.
Kim throws a head kick that misses.
Long avoids the head kick by Kim.
Long wants to counter the offense by Kim and move into the clinch position.
Kim slips under a jab from Long.
Long throws a combination. Kim tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


Kim is rocked!
Long has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Long throws an overhand right that drops Kim like a sack of potatoes! Long dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). How Long!
After winning the bout, How Long thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Roberto Kim was interviewed post fight and said 'HOOOODOOR!'.
