The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ki misses with a wild body shot.
Ki loads up on a big right hand but Cornell slips the punch.
Cornell throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ki misses with a combination
and Cornell counters with a three punch combo that has Ki backing up. Ki nods at Cornell to acknowledge the strikes.
Some wild striking there from Ki.
Cornell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ki.
Ki lands with an uppercut that bounces Cornell off the cage and back into range.

It looks like Alex Cornell has been cut.
Cornell walks into a straight right hand from Ki.

Ki drives through and clinches with Cornell against the cage.
Ki presses Cornell against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Ki throws an elbow but it misses.

Cornell throws a punch but it's blocked by Ki.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Ki just misses with a elbow thrown towards Cornell's brow.
Cornell is still on wobbly legs! Can Ki finish him?
Ki lands an uppercut.
Ki creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Cornell's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Cornell drops to his knees and Ki pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ton Ki!
After winning the bout, Ton Ki thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
