The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haverford darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Eggman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Haverford is nestled in close to Eggman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Haverford uses his free foot to push down on Eggman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Eggman.
Haverford lands a heavy elbow.
Haverford jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Eggman is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Eggman and Haverford has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Eggman takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Haverford has an Americana. Eggman didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Haverford is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Haverford hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
