Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Bradman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyrie Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Don Bradman is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Don Bradman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Kyrie Perry!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradman connects with a leg kick. Perry looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bradman throws a head kick that misses.
Perry doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Perry throws a shot from downtown. Bradman moves away and avoids it.
Bradman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Perry takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Perry throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Perry throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bradman tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Perry is in Bradman's guard.
Bradman is trying to control the position but Perry postures up.
Bradman looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Perry is looking to work some ground and pound but Bradman has wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bradman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Bradman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Perry accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Perry postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bradman ducks under a wild hook from Perry.
Bradman appears to be looking for a big counter.
Perry comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bradman misses with a kick to the body
and Perry counters with a nice uppercut.
Perry tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bradman was well out of range. Poor timing from Perry.
Bradman tried to counter with a leg kick but Perry avoided it.
Perry throws a good cross that connects.
Perry misses with a hook to the body
and Bradman counters with a series of strikes. Perry will be more careful next time no doubt.
Bradman works the jab nicely.
Bradman thumps Perry with a low kick.
Perry lands a right hook to the body.

Perry throws an overhand right that lands on Bradman's shoulder, as Bradman tries to avoid the shot.
Perry bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bradman's head backwards.
Bradman misses with an uppercut. Perry saw that one coming.
Bradman throws a lazy uppercut
and Perry counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bradman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Perry sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Perry looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Perry throws a right hand that Bradman ducks under and follows up with a left that Bradman also avoids with ease.
Nice straight punches there by Bradman. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bradman.

Bradman throws a front kick aimed at Perry's knee but Perry avoids it well.

Perry throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Perry shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bradman defends it nicely.
A little feinted left hand from Bradman on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Bradman connects with an inside leg kick.
Bradman moves forwards but Perry connects with a nice, crisp jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bradman looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Don Bradman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A close round but Kyrie Perry will probably get the nod.

and Perry counters with a left to the body.
Perry fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Perry misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bradman.
Don Bradman is winning the standup battle so far.
Bradman looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Perry uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bradman.
Bradman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Perry.
Bradman looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Bradman slips a straight right by Perry.
Bradman throws a head kick that misses
and Perry counters with a right hand to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Perry throws a big shot that misses.
Perry has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bradman finds it's way round the side to connect with Perry's head.
Perry misses with a straight left.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bradman lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Perry has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Perry and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Bradman takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Perry throws the left hand but Bradman avoids the punch easily.
Bradman throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Perry now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

and Perry counters with a left to the body.
Bradman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bradman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Bradman is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Perry must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bradman wants to sweep but no luck.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Bradman takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bradman goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Bradman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bradman wants it to stay on the feet.

Perry tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

A little feinted left hand from Bradman on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Bradman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Perry throws out a counter right but Bradman avoids it with no problem.

and Bradman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Some wild striking there from Perry.
Bradman throws a body kick that misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bradman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Perry moves away.
Perry lands a really nice looking cross but Bradman seems unphased.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyrie Perry showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Bradman misses with a low kick.
Bradman lands with a kick to the temple. Perry shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Perry throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bradman is looking to counter punch.
Bradman gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Perry counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bradman!
Bradman struggling a bit here.
Perry throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Bradman works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Perry throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bradman is looking for a sweep. Perry is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Perry thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bradman's head.
Bradman is controlling Perry's trapped leg to prevent Perry from advancing to side control.
Perry wants to control but Bradman is keeping him busy.
Bradman wants to control but Perry passes into side.

Bradman bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Bradman fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Perry.
Bradman walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Perry checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Don Bradman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Bradman misses with a body shot.
Perry throws out a powerful jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Perry, as that shot connected.
Perry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bradman manages to avoid it.
A shot to the liver by Perry. Beautiful body shot.
Perry misses with a body shot
and Bradman counters with a two punch combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Perry fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Perry avoids the head kick by Bradman.

and Perry counters with a nice body shot.
Perry scores with a nice right hand.

Bradman looks to score with a jab to the body but Perry is just out of range.
Perry is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Bradman with a body shot.

Bradman throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Perry counters with a right hand to the body.
Perry misses the shot to the body.

Bradman punishes Perry's body with a nice straight punch.
Bradman throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Perry moves away from the strike by Bradman.

Bradman misses with a head kick.
Good standup being displayed there by Bradman as he connects with a hook.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Perry crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bradman - the referee stops the clock and Perry gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bradman. Perry manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Perry shoots in for a takedown but Bradman shows good takedown defense.

Bradman misses with a leg kick
and Perry connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bradman goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Perry closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Perry lands in his opponent's guard.

Bradman manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight!
Don Bradman showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Perry has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
