Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashid Magomedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michaels's entrance music is Sexy boy. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Magomedov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Michaels fails with the takedown
and Magomedov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Michaels tries for a takedown but Magomedov circles away easily
and Magomedov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Michaels misses with a takedown
and Magomedov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shaun Michaels. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A nice side step and Magomedov releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Michaels dives in and grabs Magomedov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Magomedov pushes down on Michaels's head and hops out.

Oh Michaels is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Magomedov counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Michaels thinking.

and Magomedov counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

In his post fight interview, Rashid Magomedov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
