Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bill Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kira Miyata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miyata has chosen Boa - Energetic as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Bill Bronson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
31 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kira Miyata! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Bronson misses its intended target. Bronson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Miyata pinned against the cage. Miyata gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bronson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Nice body punch from Miyata. Bronson misses with a hook to the ribs.
A nice right hand lands inside from Miyata. Miyata is pushing Bronson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Bronson has Miyata pushed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miyata is trying to stall.
We've been hearing reports that Bronson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Bronson goes for a takedown attempt but Miyata pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miyata slips under a jab from Bronson. Bronson has his takedown stuffed and Miyata counters by clinching up. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill Bronson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Miyata's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Miyata blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

A head punch on the inside from Bronson fails to land. Bronson throws a punch but it's blocked by Miyata. Miyata lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bronson backwards. Bronson blocks an uppercut.

Bronson lands an uppercut. Bronson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Bronson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Miyata is defending well. Miyata lands with a short head shot on the inside. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Miyata blocks a body shot from Bronson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miyata tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Bronson cracks Miyata with a nice body shot. Miyata content to slow the pace in the clinch.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Miyata lands a shoulder strike. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bronson. Miyata misses with some punches.
Bronson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Miyata clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Bronson is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Miyata. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bronson landing with strikes.

Bronson is not going to allow Miyata to sit and survive in this position. Bronson scores with punches to the body. Bronson scores with punches to the body. Bronson looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Miyata manages to reverse the position and now he's in Bronson's guard. Nice work there by Miyata.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Miyata lands a couple of elbows. Miyata avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bronson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Miyata sitting in guard here, content to control. Bronson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bronson has momentary wrist control but Miyata slips an elbow through the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Miyata gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bronson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Miyata not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Bronson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bronson with a flurry of punches that miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bronson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Miyata preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Miyata controls Bronson momentarily but Bronson frees himself. Bill Bronson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bronson cracks Miyata with a solid left hand. Bronson working some strikes from top position. Miyata is looking for a triangle but Bronson pushes his legs off easily.
Bronson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bronson throwing strikes but missing. Bronson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Bronson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Miyata controls Bronson momentarily but Bronson frees himself. Bronson wants to control from the top but Miyata keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bronson looking to pass the guard. Bronson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Bronson landing with the ground and pound. Miyata is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Miyata throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bronson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bronson is looking to work some ground and pound but Miyata has wrist control. Bronson stands and throws Miyata's legs to the side, diving into side control. Bronson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Miyata can do to turn this around?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miyata is trying to improve his position. Miyata holding on. Bronson is working Miyata over with some ground and pound from side control. Bronson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Bronson throws a strike aimed at the side of Miyata's head but Miyata avoids it well. Miyata tries to improve position but can't. Bronson in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Bronson working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Miyata felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Bronson lands some shots froms side control. Miyata is looking to reverse the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bronson looks up at the clock and then as Miyata takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bronson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Bronson throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Bronson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Miyata sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Miyata gets back to half guard. Bronson winds up and cracks Miyata with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Bronson thows a huge punch but Miyata dodges it nicely.
Bronson not landing any meaningful shots this time. Miyata is not content to let Bronson control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The fighters are battling for position here. Miyata manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bronson looking to sit in guard and control but Miyata gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bronson is trying to keep Miyata in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bill Bronson dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Bronson with a body punch. A glancing blow. Bronson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Miyata.
Miyata uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bronson. Miyata takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Bronson lands with a shot to the body. Miyata tries to clinch and Bronson counters with a takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Miyata's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Miyata is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bronson cracks Miyata with an elbow. That is naaassty. Miyata tries to bench press Bronson off him but Bronson keeps the position. Miyata manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bronson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miyata makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Miyata. Miyata is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Miyata pulls Bronson in close to prevent any damage. Miyata looking for a guillotine here but Bronson defends easily.
Bronson is working Miyata over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Kira Miyata has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bill Bronson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bronson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Miyata is pulling down on Bronson's head to control his posture. Bronson trying to control but Miyata is working from the bottom. Miyata being controlled here, momentarily. Bronson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miyata swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bronson trying to control the position from guard on top but Miyata is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bronson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Nice uppercut there from Miyata. Miyata throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A shot to the liver by Bronson. Beautiful body shot. A big left from Miyata misses. Bronson moves in looking to clinch but Miyata pushes him off. Jab by Bronson. Miyata takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Bronson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Miyata was well out of range. Poor timing from Bronson. Miyata connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bronson's hands. Miyata steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bronson. Bill Bronson is winning the standup battle so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big left from Miyata misses. Bronson tries to bum rush Miyata with a series of wild strikes but Miyata uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bronson scores with a hook to the body. Miyata takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Bronson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Miyata sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bronson somewhat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bronson clinches up with Miyata and pushes him back against the cage. Miyata misses with some punches.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Miyata lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Miyata misses with a hook from the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Bill Bronson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bronson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
