Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Victor Conroy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Victor Rage!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conroy stuffs the takedown attempt from Rage. Rage gets slowly back to his feet.
A telegraphed right hand from Rage misses the target.
Rage fails with a takedown attempt.
Rage looks gassed!

Conroy shoots in and bounces Rage off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Conroy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Conroy stands up from Rage's guard - Conroy perhaps looking for a knockout.
Conroy slips a straight right by Rage.
Rage throws a shot from downtown. Conroy moves away and avoids it.
Victor Rage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Conroy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Conroy scoring with punches from side control.

Conroy stands up.
Good work by Conroy as he checks the leg kick.
Rage shoots and misses

so Conroy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Victor Conroy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Rage.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Conroy's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Rage being controlled here, momentarily.
Conroy passes Rage's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Rage is not content to let Conroy control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Rage looking for a kimura from the bottom but Conroy passes into side control!
Conroy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Conroy cracks Rage with a big right hand but Rage just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Rage taking punishment in the form of punches.

Conroy working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rage is looking to regain half guard here but Conroy keeps moving and retains side control.

Conroy has an Americana. Rage didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Conroy is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Conroy hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Victor Conroy!
