The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solis slips a jab and a cross from Shaw.
Solis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shaw pinned against the cage. Shaw gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Shaw looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Solis drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Solis is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Shaw is trying to escape and Solis transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Shaw is forced to tap! Nice work there by Solis! Very nice indeed!
