Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elton Jan! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jan looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Jan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Madsen working a defensive guard here.
Jan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Madsen dives on top into guard. Jan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Madsen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Jan is adopting a defensive guard. Jan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Madsen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elton Jan dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Madsen throws a series of punches but Jan avoids them all with ease. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Madsen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jan misses with a takedown and Madsen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Madsen throws out a powerful jab. Nice straight punches there by Madsen. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Madsen. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Madsen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jan circles away quickly and effectively. Jan shoots and misses letting Madsen counter with a right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mats Madsen dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Mats Madsen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Madsen throws a head kick that misses. Jan slips a jab and a cross from Madsen.
Jan rushes Madsen and presses him up against the cage. Jan tries to score a body lock takedown but Madsen shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Madsen breaks from the clinch.

That's going to take a lot out of Elton Jan. Nice body kick there by Madsen. Madsen tries to bum rush Jan with a series of wild strikes but Jan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Madsen throws a combination. Jan tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Madsen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Good standup being displayed there by Madsen as he connects with a hook. Madsen throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The fighters circling - Madsen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Madsen throws a right hand that Jan ducks under and follows up with a left that Jan also avoids with ease. Madsen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

and Jan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Madsen! Madsen is squirming around, avoiding Jan's attempts to control the action. Jan takes Madsen's back.
