Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dom Dominic!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pennington's waist but Pennington gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dominic off to one side.
Dominic tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pennington sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dominic somewhat.
Pennington throws a big counter combination but Dominic scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Nice takedown defense from Pennington. No joy for Dominic on that attempt.
Pennington wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dominic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pennington tries to avoid it but Dominic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pennington to the ground. Pennington escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dominic has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Pennington is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Dominic has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pennington is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dominic.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dominic manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Dominic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pennington tries to avoid it but Dominic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pennington to the ground. Pennington escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dominic shoots in looking for a takedown. Pennington tries to sprawl out of it but Dominic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pennington manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dominic is breathing heavily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
