Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grant Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve Jones will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Grant Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Jones ! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Scott can't do much from the bottom here. Scott looks to move to half guard but instead Jones has passed into mount! Damn! Scott is in all sorts of trouble here.
Jones landing strikes from the mount. Scott can't escape the position.
Jones avoids the attempt from Scott to control. Jones lands with some strikes. Scott is working to get back to half guard.
Jones looking to control and managing it successfully. Scott regains half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Scott looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Jones missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott is trying to stand up here but Jones is controlling him well. Scott really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Scott is looking to control Jones 's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Scott avoid being mounted? Jones tries to pass to full mount but Scott defends it. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jones connects with a nice short shot to Scott's temple. Jones not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Scott is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Scott is working hard here to advance position. Scott is trying to maintain the position but Jones is very close to passing his half guard. Jones with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Scott is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Scott actively working from the bottom here. Jones trying to mount his opponent but Scott defends it. Scott looking for submissions off his back. Jones uses his free foot to push down on Scott's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Scott. Scott stops Jones from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Jones prevents Scott from getting the reversal. Jones controlling his opponent. Jones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Scott is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott regains half guard. Jones is working for a kimura but Scott is defending it quite comfortably.
Scott tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control. Jones moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Scott. Scott is not content to let Jones control the position. Jones in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott struggling a bit here. Scott takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Scott manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Jones postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Scott to stand up. Jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Scott is looking to reverse the position. Jones wants to control but Scott is keeping him busy. Scott tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scott tries to sprawl but Jones drives through with a takedown into half guard. Scott slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Scott not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jones 's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scott has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Scott's legs - danger averted. Scott is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Scott lands a nice short elbow. Jones is looking to escape. Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Scott is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott looking for a submission but Jones manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Jones is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Scott is aware though and is defending well. Jones trying to control the position.
Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Scott doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Scott manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Scott scoring with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jones wants to get back to his feet but Scott is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Steve Jones has got the better of the ground game so far. Jones wants to sweep here but Scott controlling him for the moment. Jones working a defensive guard here.

Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jones has picked Scott up and slammed him! Scott can't keep hold of the triangle and Jones manages to pass to side control! Scott is looking for a sweep. Scott is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Scott regains half guard. Scott is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily. Scott trying to control but Jones postures up.
Scott is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Scott is looking to get back to full guard here but Jones has managed to pass to side control instead. Scott tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Jones presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jones working for a submission but Scott is keeping him at bay. Jones working the ground and pound effectively.
Jones looking to control and managing it successfully. Scott tries to reverse the position but Jones maintains control. Scott is squirming around, avoiding Jones 's attempts to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Scott gets back to half guard. Jones looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Jones is still trying to improve position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Scott shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Scott showed some decent athleticism there. Jones pushes Scott off and gets back to his feet. Scott doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Jones is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Scott's half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Scott keeps control of the position for the meantime. Jones is trying to control the action in half guard but Scott is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Scott is pressing down on Jones 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Scott had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jones defends it easily. Scott is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Scott is thwarting Jones 's attempts to control the position.

Jones is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Scott's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Scott's back! Jones keeps control of the position easily here as Scott tries to buck him off.
Jones wants to control but Scott is keeping busy. Scott breaks Jones 's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Scott drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jones manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Scott has Jones in his guard.
Scott will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Scott has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jones is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Scott.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott tries to get back to half guard but can't. A lull in the action here. Scott gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Scott flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Jones tries to stand but his arm is trapped. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Scott is trying to get back to full guard. Grant Scott has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Steve Jones is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Jones landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Steve Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
