Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Gerlach Rutger!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Scheisse!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scheisse is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Scheisse wants to clinch up but Rutger keeps it at a distance.
Scheisse tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rutger paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Scheisse pushes Rutger up against the cage in a clinch.
Scheisse gets underhooks to prevent Rutger's takedown attempt.
Rutger drops down looking for an ankle pick but Scheisse pulls his leg out and moves away.
Scheisse throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rutger throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Scheisse sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rutger just misses with a punch to the body.
Scheisse moves out of range of the strikes.
Rutger throws a jab but it's blocked by Scheisse.
Scheisse with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Rutger ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Scheisse moves away.
Scheisse throws a nice head kick!


It looks like Gerlach Rutger has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Rutger closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Scheisse wants to improve his position but Rutger is controlling well.
Rutger throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Rutger wants to lay and pray for a moment but Scheisse keeps working.

Scheisse looks like he's trying to stand up.
Rutger seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Scheisse does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Scheisse connects with a nasty looking knee right to Rutger's face.
Scheisse stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Scheisse creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Rutger's defenses.
Scheisse comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Rutger is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Rutger has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Scheisse is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Scheisse bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rutger's guard.

Rutger postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Scheisse is out cold - huge knockout for Rutger!
