The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gowing tries to score a power double leg takedown but Darrell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gowing somewhat.
Darrell tries to counter by closing the distance.
Darrell takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Jamie Darrell has been cut.
Gowing is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Darrell's half guard.
