Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Bustamante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samson Goldstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bustamante might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Here Comes The Boom!. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Samson Goldstein was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Diego Bustamante!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Samson Goldstein!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Goldstein checks a leg kick.
And Goldstein tries to counter it with a takedown but Bustamante pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Bustamante seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Goldstein scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bustamante in his tracks.
Bustamante scores with a kick to the midsection.
Bustamante attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Bustamante misses with a hook.
Bustamante stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Goldstein drives through with a takedown into Bustamante's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Bustamante is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Goldstein cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bustamante bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Goldstein lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Goldstein's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Goldstein postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bustamante controls Goldstein momentarily but Goldstein frees himself.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Goldstein! But no joy.
A lazy left from Goldstein finds it's target.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Samson Goldstein dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Goldstein has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Goldstein takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Goldstein shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Diego Bustamante has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samson Goldstein.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bustamante lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Goldstein has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Goldstein and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Goldstein tries to clinch but Bustamante is having none of it.
Bustamante swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Goldstein on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Goldstein is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Goldstein displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bustamante throws out the jab.

Bustamante fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Goldstein has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Goldstein needs to keep his hands up - Bustamante had a free shot at his head there.
