The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dynamite misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kazama connects with a high kick.
Dynamite shoots in for a double leg but Kazama sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kazama thuds his right hand into Dynamite's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Dynamite dodges the punch combination from Kazama.
Kazama looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kazama connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kazama turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Dynamite is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kazama tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dynamite takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Dynamite closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Kazama makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Dynamite closes the distance looking to clinch
and Kazama counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Dynamite takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Kazama drives through and clinches with Dynamite against the ropes.
Kazama tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Dynamite wants to break free but Kazama has control.

Kazama pushes Dynamite back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Dynamite tries to pull guard but Kazama holds him up against the ropes and eventually Dynamite drops back down to his feet.
Jin Kazama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Dynamite.

Kazama pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dynamite is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dynamite looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kazama throws a good cross that connects.
Dynamite fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kazama lands with a kick to the temple. Dynamite shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
No joy there for Kazama, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kazama stalks Dynamite and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dynamite's face. Dynamite staggers backwards, shaken.

Jin Kazama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kazama lands a brutal head kick. Dynamite looks out on his feet and Kazama throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
