Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Salvador Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Ironfoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dirk Ironfoot will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Salvador Donovan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dirk Ironfoot!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ironfoot lands with a straight right. Donovan didn't see that one coming.
Salvador Donovan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Donovan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ironfoot was covering up waiting for the punch and Donovan finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Ironfoot is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Donovan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Donovan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ironfoot has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Donovan has managed to get both his arms back between Ironfoot's legs - danger averted.

Ironfoot escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Donovan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Donovan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Donovan stands up from guard. Let's bang!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ironfoot throws a combination that misses

so Donovan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Donovan is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Donovan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ironfoot's head.
Donovan landing with the ground and pound.
Donovan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Donovan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Donovan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Ironfoot is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Donovan is working Ironfoot over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Ironfoot has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Donovan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ironfoot.

Ironfoot is rocked!
Donovan in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Ironfoot looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Donovan turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
