Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Alvin Smarks and Dan McAdams. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Alvin Smarks! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Dan McAdams!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
McAdams has Smarks up against the cage in a clinch.
McAdams decides to pull guard.

Smarks had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McAdams defends it easily.
McAdams thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McAdams's corner is telling him to maintain position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McAdams is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
McAdams drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McAdams jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Smarks working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McAdams doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McAdams manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Smarks is looking for a triangle but McAdams pushes his legs off easily.
Smarks looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
McAdams forces his way into half guard.
Smarks tries to get to full guard but McAdams has control of the leg.

McAdams seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Smarks is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
