Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between James Rodriguez and Frank Elliason. Elliason has chosen Dr. Dog - "Warrior Man" as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; James Rodriguez! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Frank Elliason! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Elliason instigates a clinch. Elliason fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Elliason is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Elliason tries for a takedown but Rodriguez manages to get underhooks.
Elliason jumps guard but Rodriguez stands there with Elliason around his waist. Elliason gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
James Rodriguez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Elliason. Elliason can't get the takedown.
Rodriguez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Elliason prevents it.
Rodriguez is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Elliason to keep the fight standing. Rodriguez fails to pull guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rodriguez tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Rodriguez jumps guard but Elliason turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Rodriguez is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Elliason is defending well. Rodriguez fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Elliason jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rodriguez walks away with a smile on his face. Elliason gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Elliason fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rodriguez sprawls well initially but Elliason persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Rodriguez (0) vs (2) Elliason Elliason seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Rodriguez is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
