Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bob Dent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy Wallace will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bob Dent! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Wallace! The judges for this bout are , and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace fails to land the takedown. Dent keeps the fight on the outside. Dent takes one to the side of the head.
Wallace fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Dent looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wallace is fending him off so far but Dent persists. Nope, Wallace circles away and we're back to standing. Wallace tries to clinch but Dent moves out of range. Billy Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dent just misses with a punch to the body.
Dent clinches. Dent escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wallace fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bob Dent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Wallace. Wallace moves into range and clinches up with Dent. Wallace breaks from the clinch.
Wallace closes the distance but Dent moves to the side and Dent counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wallace tries to kick Dent off but Dent keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Wallace preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dent has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Wallace is squirming around, avoiding Dent's attempts to control the action. Dent throwing strikes but Wallace recovers to half guard. A much better position. Dent seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wallace does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wallace makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Wallace. Wallace not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dent seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Wallace is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dent thows a big elbow that misses. Wallace looking to control.
Dent trying to stand up but can't free himself from Wallace's guard. Dent stands up and waves to Wallace to follow him. Wallace lands a nice looking body shot.
A combination from Dent does no damage. Wallace closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dent breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wallace gets in close and instigates a clinch. Wallace lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Dent backwards. Dent stalls. Wallace trying to stall but Dent improves his position.
Wallace prevents the takedown attempt.
Dent is looking to break free of the clinch but Wallace has double underhooks. Wallace is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Dent keeps control of Wallace as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Dent tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Dent dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Dent looks for a takedown but Wallace sprawls well. Dent tries to keep at a distance but Wallace has taken the fight into the clinch. Come on Dent - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Wallace tries to pull guard but Dent holds him up against the cage and eventually Wallace drops back down to his feet.
Dent wants a takedown but no success here.
Dent changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wallace fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Dent. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dent throws a shot from downtown. Wallace moves away and avoids it. Dent throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Wallace wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace closes the distance and clinches. Wallace tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dent just stands there and leans against the cage. Wallace is trying to break free. Dent stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Dent breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wallace tries to clinch up and Dent counters with a nice kick to the body. Wallace wants to clinch. Wallace lands a head shot. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Wallace.
Wallace scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Dent takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallace scores with a hook to the body. Dent takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Wallace stuns Dent with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Dent tries to keep at a distance but Wallace has taken the fight into the clinch. Wallace has Dent pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dent manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Wallace tries for a takedown. No joy.
Wallace lands with a left to the head. Dent is trying to break free. Wallace taking a breather. Wallace tries to stall but Dent uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Wallace drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dent pulls his leg out and moves away.
Wallace lands a jab to Dent's midsection.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace tries to clinch there but Dent circles away.
Wallace connects with the punch. Wallace tries to clinch but Dent is having none of it. Nice takedown defense from Dent. No joy for Wallace on that attempt. Wallace tries to clinch but Dent moves away and Dent counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Wallace! Wallace is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dent trying to control but Wallace is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wallace is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Wallace is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Wallace bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Wallace stands up and waves to Dent to follow him. Wallace closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Billy Wallace showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Wallace cracks Dent with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Wallace scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dent doesn't seem bothered though. Wallace clinches but Dent breaks the clinch and Dent counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wallace is looking to break free of the clinch but Dent has double underhooks. Wallace is pressed up against the cage. Dent has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wallace down to the mat. Wallace avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Wallace scores with a one two! Dent had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Dent blocks a head kick by Wallace.
Wallace doesn't manage to clinch there - Dent circles away.
Wallace tries to clinch up. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Wallace - that will leave a mark!
Wallace tries to close the distance and clinch but Dent swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wallace tries to clinch and Dent counters with a thumping low kick. Dent takes one on the button. Wallace uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Wallace closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Both guys are working to get underhooks. A nice left hand lands by Wallace.
And that's the end of the fight! Billy Wallace comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Wallace has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
