These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson Jacobs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fernando Raez! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raez lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Jacobs lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Raez takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Jacobs scores with a jab to the head.
Raez tried to score with a low kick but Jacobs checks it. Raez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A slow jab from Raez misses its intended target. Jacobs swings for the body but Raez moves out of range.
Jacobs throws a good cross that connects.
Raez gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Jacobs with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jacobs thumps Raez with a low kick. Jacobs has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. A left lands for Jacobs. Jacobs lands with a thumping leg kick.
Raez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jacobs feinted with a counter takedown. Jacobs lands a jab.
Raez is rocked! Jacobs misses with a hook. Raez ducked under it nicely. Raez is still on wobbly legs! Can Jacobs finish him? Good leg kick by Jacobs there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Raez seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raez takes a shot right to the bread basket. Raez looks to land a combination but Jacobs avoids it well. Jacobs looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Jacobs looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Raez! Raez can't do much from the bottom here. Jacobs has hold of Raez's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Raez seems comfortable defending it but Jacobs has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Raez is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Raez is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jacobs couldn't care less - he's delighted!
