Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Phat Ho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Griffen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chuck Griffen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Phat Ho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Griffen! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffen on the wrong end of a nice jab. Ho connects with a crisp jab. Griffen takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ho gets tackled into the ropes by Griffen. Griffen maintains the clinch. Griffen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Griffen has Ho pressed against the ropes, preventing Ho from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Griffen looking to stall.
Griffen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ho throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Griffen is looking to clinch but Ho is avoiding it.
As Griffen looks to move away, Ho throws a big counter combo but Griffen just gets out of the way. Ho's jab looks to have found its range, popping Griffen under the eye. Griffen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Griffen there as he acknowledges the shot. Griffen misses the shot to the body. Ho swings for the body but Griffen moves out of range.
Griffen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ho. As Ho backs off Griffen throws a huge counter combo but Ho manages to avoid it all. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A punch combination from Ho misses. Ho throws a series of punches but Griffen moves out of range. Griffen clinches with his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Griffen keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ho's efforts to push away. A left hand lands to the body for Griffen.

Ho misses with a right hand and Griffen counters with a left and a right that stings Ho. Griffen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Griffen gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A frustrated look appears on Ho's face as he tries to break the clinch. Griffen tries to work over Ho's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Ho wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Griffen has him pressed against the ropes. Griffen is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes. Ho is trying to break the clinch but Griffen has him pressed against the ropes. That's two minutes gone in the round. Griffen stalls. Griffen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ho lands with an uppercut that bounces Griffen off the ropes and back into range. Griffen misses the shot to the body. Griffen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ho looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Phat Ho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheers as Ho lands an impressive looking overhand right. Griffen doesn't seem phased though. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Griffen throws a right hand that Ho ducks under and follows up with a left that Ho also avoids with ease. Ho lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Griffen gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ho wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Griffen has him pressed against the ropes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Phat Ho will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Griffen ducks under a wild hook from Ho. Chuck Griffen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Griffen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ho scores with a jab to the head.
Ho fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ho throws a body shot but no joy. Griffen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Griffen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ho.
Griffen closes the distance and pushes Ho back into the ropes. Ho tries to break free but Griffen pushes him back against the ropes. Ho is trying to break free. Ho wants to get back to striking at distance but Griffen won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Griffen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A jab lands there for Ho. Griffen tries to clinch up but Ho circles away and keeps his distance. Ho was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Griffen plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Ho lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's one minute gone in the round. A cross from Ho lands. Griffen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ho. Ho misses with the combination.
Griffen forces Ho back against the ropes and clinches. Griffen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ho connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Griffen moves in looking to clinch but Ho pushes him off. Ho is looking to counter punch. Ho is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Griffen. Ho slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Griffen has closed the distance and engaged Ho in a clinch.

Ho catches Griffen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Ho throws a jab when Griffen was well out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ho swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Griffen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ho. Griffen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ho. Griffen closes the distance and pushes Ho back into the ropes. Ho is trying to push Griffen away but Griffen has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Ho tries to circle away but Griffen has him pinned against the ropes. Griffen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Griffen tries to close the distance and clinch but Ho swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Griffen is looking to clinch but Ho is avoiding it.
Ho lunges at Griffen with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Griffen's hand. Griffen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Phat Ho is winning the standup battle so far. Ho looks to land a combination but Griffen avoids it well. Griffen is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Griffen scores with a head kick.

A little feinted left hand from Ho on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Ho looks to land a left hand but Griffen moved out of range nicely. Griffen scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Ho circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ho throws an overhand right that lands on Griffen's shoulder, as Griffen tries to avoid the shot. Ho swats away the attempt to clinch by Griffen. Ho is really dominating this fight. Phat Ho clearly takes that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ho throws a hook to the side of Griffen's head but Griffen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ho throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Griffen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Griffen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Nice straight punches there by Ho. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ho. Ho will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

Griffen lands a head kick that bluckles Ho and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Griffen no doubt looking to push for a finish! Ho misses with a hook. A little jabbing left from Griffen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Ho takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ho is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Griffen rushes Ho and presses him up against the ropes. Oh Ho is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Griffen manages to break the clinch.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Griffen! This one is all over!
