Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rod Davidson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dino Evangelista! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Fedor Mirinova and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Davidson closes the distance and clinches. Davidson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The referee calls for Davidson to work.

Evangelista blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Davidson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Evangelista avoids the head kick by Davidson.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Evangelista jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Davidson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Evangelista pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Davidson wants to get back to his feet but Evangelista is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Davidson can't keep his opponent in guard - Evangelista advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Davidson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Evangelista works his way into full mount! Evangelista is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Davidson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Davidson! That's four minutes gone in the round. Davidson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Evangelista pulls his head out easily. Evangelista wants to pass the guard but Davidson is defending well. Evangelista works his foot free and advances to mount. Evangelista landing punches. Evangelista wants to finish this one by submission but Davidson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Evangelista. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Davidson is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Davidson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Evangelista manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Oh Davidson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Davidson wants to clinch but Evangelista slips to the side and Evangelista counters with a big takedown. That's hurt Davidson! Evangelista smells blood and goes in for the kill. Serveral hard shots later and the ref calls an end to the fight by TKO!
