Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Rorden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ter Harkel comes to the cage accompanied by Conan. Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ray Rorden's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ray Rorden! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rorden stuffs the takedown. Rorden shoots in looking for a takedown but Ter Harkel manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rorden's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Horrible takedown attempt by Rorden or perhaps it was just good defense by Ter Harkel, which made it look bad. Ter Harkel lands a head kick!
Rorden instigates a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rorden taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Ter Harkel tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rorden just stands there and leans against the cage. Ter Harkel is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Rorden to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rorden avoids a wild elbow strike from Ter Harkel. Rorden manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rorden stuffs the takedown. Rorden looks for a takedown but Ter Harkel sprawls well. Ter Harkel looks for a takedown but Rorden sprawls well. Rorden clinches with his opponent.
Rorden escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rorden closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ter Harkel's guard. Rorden has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ter Harkel is proving hard to escape from. Rorden controlling from the top position. Rorden wants to stand but Ter Harkel is controlling his posture from full guard. Rorden stays in close to Ter Harkel's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rorden throwing strikes from guard but Ter Harkel blocks nicely. Rorden postures up and lands a big shot to Ter Harkel's brow. Rorden wants to pass the guard but Ter Harkel is keeping the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Ter Harkel misses with a takedown attempt and Rorden counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rorden. Ter Harkel scores with a shot to the side of Rorden's head. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Ter Harkel tries a knee to the head but Rorden blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rorden jumps guard but Ter Harkel stands there with Rorden around his waist. Rorden gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A short right from Ter Harkel on the inside. A frustrated look appears on Ter Harkel's face as he tries to break the clinch. Ter Harkel pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Rorden is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Ter Harkel wants to break free but Rorden has control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rorden tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ter Harkel smiles and moves away.
Ter Harkel looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Rorden tries to clinch there but Ter Harkel circles away.
Rorden gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ter Harkel. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Ter Harkel fails with a takedown attempt. Ter Harkel looks to clinch and Rorden counters with a single leg into guard. Ter Harkel didn't expect that. Rorden would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Rorden looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rorden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ter Harkel swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rorden showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Rorden wants to stand and escape but instead Ter Harkel has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ter Harkel postures up in Rorden's guard and throws a big left but Rorden blocks it. Ter Harkel throws a big right hand that misses. Rorden has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ter Harkel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Rorden working for a triangle but Ter Harkel defends it easily.
Rorden controlling the position. Rorden utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ter Harkel throws a strike but Rorden rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rorden trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are working up against the cage. Ter Harkel manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Ter Harkel wants to take the fight to the mat but Rorden manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Ter Harkel wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Rorden has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ter Harkel avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. A body shot lands from Rorden.

Rorden keeps control of Ter Harkel as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Ter Harkel avoiding damage as Rorden throws knees to the body.

Rorden is trying to pull guard but Ter Harkel turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Rorden.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rorden engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rorden's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Ray Rorden will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Ter Harkel tries to keep at a distance but Rorden has taken the fight into the clinch. Rorden tries to pull guard but Ter Harkel forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Ter Harkel drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rorden pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ter Harkel scores with a nice strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rorden shoots for a takedown but Ter Harkel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ter Harkel swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Rorden throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ter Harkel was covering up waiting for the punch and Rorden finishes the takedown easily into guard. Rorden controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ter Harkel keeping moving, preventing Rorden from controlling successfully. Rorden slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Rorden trying to control the position from guard on top but Ter Harkel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ter Harkel being controlled here, momentarily. Rorden is looking to stand up but Ter Harkel won't let him.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Rorden darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Rorden not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rorden wants to control but Ter Harkel is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rorden tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Ter Harkel. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rorden controlling the pace. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Rorden working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Ray Rorden has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Rorden leaves Ter Harkel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ter Harkel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rorden manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Rorden throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Ter Harkel counters with a flying knee. Nice. Rorden looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Rorden. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rorden misses with a takedown attempt and Ter Harkel counters with a big head kick but Rorden shrugs it off. Rorden fails in his attempt to clinch. It appears Ter Harkel was looking to counter with a kick there.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ray Rorden. I think Rorden has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ray Rorden very nearly forgot to thank Amped Performance amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel spoke after the fight, saying 'Pech gehabt'.
