Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Larith Shun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfie Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Larith Shun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alfie Jackson! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shun. Shun shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jackson throws a head kick that misses and Shun counters with a takedown into side control. Jackson sneaks out the side door and pushes Shun away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Shun. Jackson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Shun. Jackson looks like he wants to counter punch here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Larith Shun. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shun fails with the takedown. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shun looks for a takedown but Jackson sprawls well. Jackson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jackson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Shun wants to stand but Jackson is controlling the position. Jackson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson stands up and waves to Shun to follow him. Jackson has taken the fight to the clinch.

The referee is keeping an eye on Shun - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Jackson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Shun stands up from Jackson's guard - Shun perhaps looking for a knockout. Jackson has closed the distance and engaged Shun in a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson pressing his opponent against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Jackson's face as he tries to break the clinch. Jackson letting Shun take a breather here. Jackson can't find room to land a body shot as Shun controls the action.
Jackson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Jackson successfully pulls guard.
Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Shun is controlling him. Shun stands up and waves to Jackson to follow him. Shun throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jackson's waist but Jackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shun off to one side. Shun shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jackson defends it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shun drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jackson is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Jackson trying to stall but Shun improves his position.
Shun prevents Jackson from breaking the clinch. Jackson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Shun regains guard immediately. Jackson stops Shun from standing up. Jackson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Shun manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shun content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Jackson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Shun stalling against the cage.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Larith Shun. Jackson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Shun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jackson moves into range and clinches up with Shun. Jackson gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Shun regains guard.
Jackson is stalling in the full guard. Shun utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alfie Jackson dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jackson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Shun wants to get back to his feet. Jackson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Shun's shoulder. That is not cool. Jackson throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Jackson advances nicely into full mount. Jackson tries to control but Shun wriggling away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Jackson throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shun really wants to buck Jackson off and get back to his feet. Shun tries to buck Jackson off but Jackson takes his back! Jackson missing with strikes. Alfie Jackson has got the better of the ground game so far. Jackson controls the action. Shun manages to stand up with Jackson still on his back. Eventually Jackson drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position. Jackson closes the distance and clinches. Shun is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Jackson wants the takedown. Shun is fighting it off but Jackson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Shun's guard against the cage. Jackson tries to stand but Shun is controlling from the bottom. Shun is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson uses his free foot to push down on Shun's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Shun. Shun is trying to stand. Shun somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! Jackson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Jackson fails to land with a series of punches.
Jackson throws a wild body kick that Shun sees coming a mile off. Shun is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jackson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Shun throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jackson's waist but Jackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shun off to one side. Jackson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Shun did well to prevent Jackson getting side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shun wants to get back to his feet. Jackson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Shun pushes Jackson off looking to stand but Jackson dives back in and keeps control.
Shun kicks Jackson off and gets back to his feet. Jackson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson advances to mount. Jackson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Alfie Jackson will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Jackson gets a clinch. Jackson has had enough of the clinch but Shun keeps him there for the moment. Shun breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shun is defended easily by Jackson. Jackson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Shun on his heels. He'll look to pass Shun's guard now, I'm sure. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jackson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Shun is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Jackson dives into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jackson stops Shun from getting back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jackson stuffs the takedown. Excellent takedown into side control there by Jackson. Jackson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Shun will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Jackson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Shun sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Jackson in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson is staying tight to Shun's torso, preventing him from escaping. Shun tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Jackson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Jackson is working for a guillotine from mount but Shun frees his head quite easily.
Shun's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Shun is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Jackson thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Shun is trying to stand. Larith Shun has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jackson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Alfie Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
