Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - spartin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
spartin lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Mynzek sprawling to the canvas. spartin follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Mynzek hang on?

spartin is pressing down on Mynzek's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mynzek is holding on for now.
spartin prevents Mynzek from improving his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

spartin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Horrible takedown by Mynzek or perhaps it was just good defense by spartin which made him look bad.

spartin connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mynzek momentarily.

Mynzek shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mynzek was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
spartin stops Mynzek from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
spartin is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mynzek wants to control the pace but spartin is squirming around nicely.

Mynzek swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and spartin is now in Mynzek's guard. A big mistake from Mynzek there, giving up the dominant position!
Mezar Mynzek has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

spartin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mynzek's head.
spartin decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
