Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brick Tamlan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geronimo Apache (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Apache has chosen Eye of the Tiger as his entrance music. Geronimo Apache will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Geronimo Apache!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Ron Honeybunn and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tamlan swats away the attempt to clinch by Apache.
Apache fails with the takedown

and Tamlan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Tamlan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Apache is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tamlan scores with a couple of nice shots.
Apache slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Apache looking for a guillotine here but Tamlan defends easily.
Tamlan is looking to work some ground and pound but Apache has wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Apache is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Tamlan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Apache's head.

Tamlan throwing strikes from guard but Apache blocks nicely.

Tamlan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Apache is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tamlan, into his guard.

Apache thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Tamlan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Apache controls the pace.

Apache drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Apache seems to have locked his on tight now - Tamlan screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Apache, as he picks up the win!
