The crowd seem to be enjoying Bling's choice of entrance music: Ez Rollers tough at the Top. Bling Bling has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ellis Stone's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ellis Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bling Bling!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone thuds a left hand into Bling's body.
Stone shoots in for a takedown but Bling shows good takedown defense.
Stone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bling pinned against the cage. Bling gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Stone swats away the attempt to clinch by Bling.
Stone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bling.

Stone shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stone showed some decent athleticism there.
Bling wants to get back to full guard.
Stone throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bling trying to control from the bottom.

Stone tries to pass to full mount but Bling defends it.

Bling looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Stone seems content to control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Stone tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bling was well out of range. Poor timing from Stone.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Stone feints and as Bling raises his hands in defense, Stone changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bling wants to sweep but no luck.
Stone is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Bling has an active guard here but Stone has managed to pass into half guard.
Bling manages to get to full guard.

Bling had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Stone is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bling Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Stone's back instead.
Bling looks gassed!

Bling is trying to stick to Stone's back but Stone is turning into Bling. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Bling's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Stone.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stone's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Stone decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bling, up you get!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bling but Bling pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bling slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Bling is trying to control but can't.
Bling is looking for a sweep. Stone is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bling trying to hold on to Stone's head to control him but Stone postures up.
Stone perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Ellis Stone just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Stone motions for Bling to come forward. Stone throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Stone throws a right hand that Bling ducks under and follows up with a left that Bling also avoids with ease.
Stone tries to bum rush Bling with a series of wild strikes but Bling uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stone lands a body shot.

Stone instigates a clinch.

Stone has clasped his hands together around Bling's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Bling tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stone wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bling is breathing heavily.
You can see the frustration on Bling's face as Stone controls the position.

Stone has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Stone tries for a takedown but Bling sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Stone misses with a head kick.

Stone clinches with his opponent.

Stone just leaning against Bling, taking a breather.
Bling is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Stone lands a body shot in the clinch.
Stone on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Stone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bling takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Stone lands a slapping body shot.

Stone closes the distance and pushes Bling back into the cage.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Stone rushes Bling and presses him up against the cage.

Bling is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Bling tries to roll but Stone sticks to his back.
Bling takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Well Stone has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
