Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

Potamus misses with a double jab

so Ruddy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Ruddy not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Ruddy wants to pass the guard but Potamus is keeping the position.
Ruddy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Potamus works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Potamus, right into the meat.
Ruddy gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Potamus.
Potamus lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Potamus lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Potamus connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ruddy's hands.
Ruddy walks straight into a right hand from Potamus - that's dropped him! Potamus jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Ruddy from any more punishment! Ruddy complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
