Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tim Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samak Tiyapairat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hansen comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Big Gun. Tiyapairat is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ram Muay. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tim Hansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Samak Tiyapairat!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tiyapairat counters with a straight right hand.

Tiyapairat clinches up against the cage.

Tiyapairat breaks from the clinch.
Tiyapairat scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Hansen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tiyapairat moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tiyapairat is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Hansen with a body shot.
Tiyapairat is looking to clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Hansen. Those never looked like landing.
Tiyapairat throws a lazy right hand but Hansen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tiyapairat throws a series of punches but Hansen moves out of range.
Tiyapairat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Left hook, right uppercut from Hansen.

It looks like Samak Tiyapairat has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tiyapairat digs a good body shot into Hansen's ribs.

Tiyapairat blocks a head kick by Hansen.
Hansen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tiyapairat misses with a head kick.
Tiyapairat fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hansen on the side of the head.
Hansen connects with a solid leg kick.

Tiyapairat lands a glancing blow to the side of Hansen's head.
A combination from Hansen does no damage.
Tiyapairat stuns Hansen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Tiyapairat dodges the punch combination from Hansen.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Hansen! Tiyapairat is out on his feet! Hansen rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Tiyapairat is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Tiyapairat is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
