Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dalton Dudley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Nielsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dalton Dudley has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dalton Dudley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thor Nielsen! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nielsen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dudley throws a counter high kick but Nielsen was just alert enough to avoid it. Dudley blocks a leg kick. A low kick from Nielsen is predictable there and Dudley counters with a one-two to the body. Nielsen lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Dudley throws a series of punches but Nielsen moves out of range. Nielsen clobbers Dudley with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Nielsen throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Nielsen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dudley throws a quick counter head kick but Nielsen was just out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Dudley pushes Nielsen up against the cage in a clinch. Dudley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dudley goes for a takedown in the clinch but Nielsen prevents it.
Nielsen is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Nielsen tries to circle away but Dudley has him pinned against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dudley drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nielsen wants to break free but Dudley has control.
Nielsen is trying to push Dudley away but Dudley has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Dudley has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Nielsen uses from the top position. Nielsen tries to stand but Dudley is controlling from the bottom. Dudley is working an open guard so Nielsen takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Nielsen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dudley doesn't seem bothered though. Nielsen throws a right hand that Dudley ducks under and follows up with a left that Dudley also avoids with ease. An attempted straight right counter from Dudley misses the target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nielsen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nielsen throws a chopping leg kick but Dudley manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Nielsen lands a two punch combo.

Dudley is looking for a counter combo. Nielsen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Nielsen just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromDudley. Nielsen looks winded! Sloppy strikes from Nielsen. Those never looked like landing. Dudley went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Nielsen finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nielsen is looking to score with low kicks. Thor Nielsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nielsen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dudley circles away quickly and effectively. Nielsen throws a right and a left that both miss. Dudley throws a big counter combination but Nielsen scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Dudley blocks a jab. Nielsen keeps the fight on the outside. Dudley tries to clinch up. Dudley fails with a takedown attempt. Nielsen gets tackled into the cage by Dudley. Dudley maintains the clinch. Dudley prevents Nielsen from breaking the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dudley drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Nielsen gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Dudley tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A frustrated look appears on Nielsen's face as he tries to break the clinch. Dudley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A combination from Nielsen does no damage. Dudley was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Nielsen misses with a low kick.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thor Nielsen dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Nielsen swings for the body but Dudley moves out of range.
Nielsen throws a leg kick that misses. Dudley is looking to counter the offense by Nielsen and move into the clinch. Nielsen misses with a few strikes there.

Dudley is looking to clinch but Nielsen is avoiding it.

And Dudley counters with a quick kick to the body but Nielsen blocks it. Nielsen misses with the combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nielsen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nielsen is breathing heavily. Nielsen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dudley wants to clinch. As Dudley backs off Nielsen throws a huge counter combo but Dudley manages to avoid it all. Nielsen throws a series of punches but Dudley avoids them all with ease. Dudley tries to close the distance and clinch but Nielsen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A nice side step and Nielsen releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Nielsen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Dudley to counter with a crisp jab. The fight moves into the clinch position. Nielsen prevents the takedown attempt.
Nielsen wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Nielsen is trying to break the clinch but Dudley has him pressed against the cage. Dudley goes for a takedown in the clinch but Nielsen prevents it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dudley has Nielsen pressed against the cage, preventing Nielsen from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Dudley goes for a takedown attempt but Nielsen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dalton Dudley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dudley wants to clinch and Nielsen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Nielsen is looking to chop away at Dudley's legs. Dalton Dudley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nielsen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Thor Nielsen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dudley scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Dudley sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Nielsen defending well though. Nielsen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Dudley lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dudley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nielsen's head. Dudley sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Nielsen defending well though. Dudley not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Dudley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dudley throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Dudley not landing any meaningful shots this time. Dudley looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dudley thows a huge punch but Nielsen dodges it nicely.
Dudley is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Nielsen has managed to free his arm - good work. Dudley thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dudley lands a nice short elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nielsen avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dudley. Nielsen wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dalton Dudley will probably get the nod. That's time! Dudley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Nielsen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dudley is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Nielsen to keep the fight standing. Dudley tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nielsen just stands there and leans against the cage. Nielsen is pressed up against the cage. Dudley has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nielsen down to the mat. Nielsen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Nielsen throws a combination that misses and Dudley counters with a three punch combo that has Nielsen backing up. Nielsen nods at Dudley to acknowledge the strikes. Nielsen misses the shot to the body. Sloppy strikes from Nielsen. Those never looked like landing. Nielsen is looking to chop away at Dudley's legs. Dudley looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Dudley tries to clinch up but Nielsen circles away and keeps his distance. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dudley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nielsen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nielsen has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dudley darts in and clinches Nielsen up against the cage. Dudley's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Dudley is working for takedown but Nielsen is calmly controlling the position for now. Nielsen working hard to break the clinch. Dudley throws an elbow that misses.
Nielsen is trying to break free. Dudley is trying to pull guard but Nielsen turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Nielsen has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Nielsen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dudley has him pressed against the cage. Dudley is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Nielsen pulls him back up using the underhooks. Dudley tries to pull guard but Nielsen forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Nielsen is trying to push Dudley away but Dudley has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Dudley breaks the clinch.
A low kick from Nielsen is predictable there and Dudley counters with a one-two to the body. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dudley closes the distance and clinches up with Nielsen, looking for a takedown. Dudley pushes Nielsen against the cage but Nielsen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nielsen tries to bum rush Dudley with a series of wild strikes but Dudley uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nielsen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dudley.
And that's the end of the fight! Thor Nielsen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Nielsen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
