Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don T. Bill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Damozzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill and Frank Damozzi. Don T. Bill had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Don T. Bill is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don T. Bill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 18 - 5, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Damozzi! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Damozzi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Damozzi showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bill.
Damozzi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bill throws out the jab. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bill lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Damozzi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Damozzi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Bill misses with a left hand and Damozzi counters by clinching up. Bill tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Bill throws a head punch that misses. Bill tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Damozzi has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bill regains guard immediately. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Damozzi won't allow Bill to sweep him here. Damozzi scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Bill bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Damozzi's guard. Bill trying to control but Damozzi is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Damozzi is on top in guard.
Damozzi trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bill's guard. Damozzi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bill working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Damozzi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Damozzi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Damozzi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bill is looking for a sweep. Damozzi happy to just control the position for now. Bill tries to buck Damozzi off but Damozzi is having none of it. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bill is working to avoid the ground and pound but Damozzi connects with a decent elbow. Damozzi lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Bill tries to improve position but can't. Bill gets back to half guard. Damozzi working Bill over with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bill wants to get back to full guard. Damozzi tries to pass to full mount but Bill defends it. Damozzi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bill with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Bill wants to get back to full guard. Bill makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bill. Damozzi trying to control the position from guard on top but Bill is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bill tries to land a sweep but no joy. Damozzi wants to control from the top but Bill keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Damozzi is looking to stand up but Bill won't let him. Damozzi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bill working for a triangle but Damozzi defends it easily.
Damozzi has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bill is proving hard to escape from. Damozzi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Damozzi stands and steps away. Bill gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Damozzi dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Damozzi darts in trying to clinch enabling Bill to counter with a crisp jab. Bill lands with an overhand left. Bill misses with a wild body shot. Damozzi throws a counter combo. Damozzi clinches with his opponent.
Damozzi wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bill has him pressed against the cage. Bill misses with some punches.
Bill tries to throw a body punch but Damozzi avoids it by throwing Bill back against the cage. Bill misses with the head strike.
Damozzi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Damozzi swats away the attempt to clinch by Bill. Damozzi connects with a nice looking jab.
Bill misses with a hook. Damozzi ducked under it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Damozzi scores with a push kick. Bill misses the jab. A nice inside leg kick there by Damozzi. That's going to slow Bill down. Damozzi clinches up with Bill and pushes him back against the cage. Bill turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Damozzi can't do much from the bottom here. What's Damozzi going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Damozzi is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bill off and has taken his back! This has been an exciting period of action! Bill grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bill is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Damozzi has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bill preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Damozzi. Bill is taking damage to the body and head. Damozzi scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Bill is looking for a way out. Bill tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Damozzi trying to control but Bill is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Damozzi lands with some strikes. Bill is looking to improve his position but Damozzi isn't that keen on the idea. Damozzi wants to control but Bill has made it back to half guard. Nice work. Bill tries to get to full guard but Damozzi has control of the leg. Damozzi has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Bill works to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Damozzi wants to control from the top but Bill keeps moving. Damozzi advances position into side control! Damozzi lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Damozzi tries to stand but Bill is controlling his head. Bill is trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Damozzi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Bill's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Damozzi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bill defends well and Damozzi ends up having to push Bill into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Bill is looking to counter with a body kick. Bill throws a poor cross that misses
and Damozzi counters with a two punch combo. Bill throws a hook but Damozzi blocks it. As Bill backs off Damozzi throws a huge counter combo but Bill manages to avoid it all. Damozzi is looking to clinch but Bill is avoiding it.
Don T. Bill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bill misses with a body shot.
Despite the aggression on Damozzi's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Bill looks to land a body kick but Damozzi moved away. Damozzi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bill looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Damozzi ducks under a wild hook from Bill. Damozzi swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. A head kick misses from Damozzi. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Damozzi takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Frank Damozzi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Damozzi gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bill. Bill throws out a leg kick but Damozzi moves out of range and Bill only half commits. Damozzi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bill pinned against the cage. Bill gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Don T. Bill is winning the standup battle so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bill just misses with a punch to the body.
Damozzi blocks a jab. Damozzi closes the distance and clinches. Damozzi's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Damozzi breaks from the clinch.
Bill tries for a takedown but Damozzi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Damozzi drives through with a takedown into Bill's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Bill has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Damozzi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Damozzi trying to control but Bill is working from the bottom. Bill looking for a guillotine here but Damozzi defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Damozzi is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Damozzi makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Damozzi trying to control but Bill is working from the bottom. Bill had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Damozzi defends it easily. Bill looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Frank Damozzi is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Damozzi advances to half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Damozzi lands a nice short elbow. Damozzi takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Damozzi wants to stand up but Bill has a hold of him and won't allow it. Damozzi not doing much here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Don T. Bill has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bill loads up on a big right hand but Damozzi slips the punch. Damozzi shoots in and bounces Bill off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bill is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bill is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Damozzi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Damozzi winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
