The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Atkins feints a jab promting Parazinho to slip. Atkins then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Parazinho slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Parazinho tries a quick counter leg kick but Atkins is wise to it.

Speedy Atkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Atkins lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Parazinho uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Atkins.
Atkins stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Atkins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Parazinho manages to avoid it.
Parazinho looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Atkins is looking to slow Parazinho down with leg kicks.
Parazinho cracks Atkins with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

No joy there for Atkins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Parazinho tries to move into range but Atkins moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Atkins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Parazinho throws out the jab.

and Parazinho counters with a crisp one two that drops Atkins! Parazinho thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Atkins to his feet! Atkins is in big trouble!

Parazinho ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Oh Atkins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Atkins is looking to clinch but Parazinho is avoiding it.
Parazinho closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Atkins! Parazinho dives in looking to finish! Atkins is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mannie Parazinho!
